Tab Bar
Use the Tab Bar at the bottom of each screen to navigate between basic functions. Each tab will retain your most recent screen in memory until you either close the application or double tap the tab to return to its default position.
Maps
Use the Regions tab
to access maps and
facts for any Continent, Ocean, or
Subcontinent.
Countries Tab
Use the Countries tab to
access maps and facts for
any country in the World.
States Tab
Use the States tab to
access maps and facts for
any U.S. State, Canadian Province, or
United Kingdom Country.
Selection Page
Each selection offers a choice of Map or Facts.
Maps
View more than 300 accurate, finely-crafted maps
of every continent, ocean, country, U.S. state,
Canadian province, and United Kingdom country.
Colorful maps show boundaries, coastlines, cities,
capitals, waterways, mountain ranges, and more.
Facts and Flags
See where each country, state or province is
located in the world, what its flag looks like, and
essential statistics about its area, population,
languages, literacy, religions, life expectancy,
government, currency and economy.
Search
Use the Search tab to quickly locate
any major city or country, territory,
continent, ocean, U.S. state, Canadian province,
or U.K. country. Begin by typing a term in the
search window. A drop down search suggestion
list appears with all entries containing that search
term.
Pan and Zoom
Use simple finger motions to pan and zoom on the map. Drag your fingers apart to zoom in, or pinch them together to zoom out. Scroll the map by sliding with your finger to re-center on your area of interest.
